President/ Executive Director
Gerard Laborde is a co-founder of the Andrew Service Jr. Memorial Foundation and serves as its President and Executive Director. He is a proud veteran, having served 26 years in the Army National Guard. Gerard earned his Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice from Southeastern Louisiana University, where he also works as an Outreach Generalist for the Veterans Upward Bound Program. Through both his professional role and nonprofit leadership, he is deeply committed to advocating for veterans, supporting those in recovery, and ensuring they have access to education, resources, and second chances. His lived experience, service, and dedication to helping fellow veterans are central to the mission and vision of the Andrew Service Jr. Memorial Foundation.
Secretary
Works with the National Alliance of Mental Illness. He joined the Andrew Service Jr Memorial Foundation Board of Directors in 2024 and was elected Secretary in 2025.
Treasurer
She joined the Andrew Service Jr Memorial Foundation Board of Directors in 2024 and was elected Treasurer in 2025. She is one of the key staff members of the 19th JDC Veterans Treatment Court.
